Led by DTCP Growth with participation from existing investors Experian, GV, and Notion Capital, the capital will be used to enhance its AI agents’ capabilities, expand its document fraud detection and transaction monitoring solutions, and bolster threat intelligence against increasingly sophisticated AI-driven criminal activities.
Prague, Czech Republic – October 13, 2025 – Resistant AI, a pioneering force in leveraging artificial intelligence to combat financial crime and fraud, today announced the successful closure of a $25 million Series B funding round. This significant investment is set to accelerate the company’s mission to safeguard the global financial system from evolving threats, particularly those amplified by generative AI.
The funding round was spearheaded by DTCP Growth, a global investment management firm, with robust participation from existing investors including Experian, Google Ventures (GV), and Notion Capital, all of whom have doubled down on their previous commitments. This continued support underscores confidence in Resistant AI’s innovative approach and its near-term path to profitability.
Martin Rehak, CEO and Founder of Resistant AI, emphasized the critical shift in the financial crime landscape. “The financial crime landscape has fundamentally changed with the deployment of LLMs and AI agents in risk prevention settings, and the weaponization of generative AI by fraudsters,” Rehak stated. He added, “Our fraud and fincrime models offer any institution the tools to empower both their human and agentic co-pilots to combat these AI-powered threats at scale. This funding, combined with our near-term path to profitability, allows us to accelerate our mission of protecting the global financial system from increasingly sophisticated criminal networks.”
The newly secured capital will be strategically deployed to consolidate Resistant AI’s position as a profitable EU AI leader. Key areas of investment include expanding its advanced document fraud detection and transaction monitoring offerings into new territories and partnerships, as well as further developing its threat intelligence capabilities.
Resistant AI’s core technology is built upon a multi-model, fully native AI architecture that seamlessly integrates signals from across a customer’s existing risk technology stack. The company’s solutions, such as ‘Resistant Documents’ and ‘Resistant Transactions,’ are designed to make fintech AI and automation systems resilient to manipulation and attack without requiring a complete overhaul of existing infrastructure. ‘Resistant Documents’ can check any document for fraud and authenticity in seconds, while ‘Resistant Transactions’ upgrades traditional rules-based monitoring systems with over 80 models targeting advanced financial crime typologies.
By analyzing a wide array of data, from submitted documents to ongoing customer behaviors, Resistant AI effectively uncovers and prevents sophisticated crimes including document forgery, large-scale serial fraud, synthetic identities, account takeovers, money mules, authorized push payment (APP) fraud, and complex money laundering schemes. This integrated approach delivers significant gains in recall, precision, and contextual decision-making, enabling more effective detection of these advanced threats.
