TLDR: Rebellions, a rapidly expanding AI inference chip company, has joined Arm Total Design. This collaboration aims to develop scalable and energy-efficient AI infrastructure solutions by integrating Rebellions’ AI accelerators with Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems. The partnership, bolstered by Arm’s recent investment in Rebellions’ Series C funding, is focused on optimizing solutions for generative AI and future data center demands.
SAN JOSE, Calif. – October 15, 2025 – Rebellions, recognized as Asia’s fastest-growing AI inference chip company, has officially announced its integration into Arm® Total Design. This significant collaboration was unveiled at the OCP Global Summit 2025. Arm Total Design is an expansive ecosystem comprising industry leaders dedicated to accelerating and simplifying the creation of custom systems built upon Arm Neoverse™ Compute Subsystems (CSS).
In an era where AI data centers are experiencing unprecedented demands for enhanced performance and efficiency, Rebellions stands out as the first AI accelerator startup to join the Arm Total Design initiative. The company brings to the table profound expertise in chiplet-based AI accelerator design. This architectural approach is being applied in its forthcoming REBEL AI accelerator, designed to significantly scale compute and I/O performance.
The partnership between Rebellions, Arm, and other members of the Arm Total Design ecosystem is geared towards delivering high-performance, energy-efficient Systems-on-Chips (SoCs) that are capable of scaling across the next generation of AI data centers. A core aspect of this collaboration involves the seamless integration of Arm Neoverse CSS with Rebellions’ AI accelerators. This integration is expected to provide the ecosystem with a scalable and power-efficient solution crucial for future AI deployments.
Further solidifying this strategic alliance, Arm recently made a significant investment in Rebellions’ Series C funding round. This continued partnership underscores a mutual commitment to developing optimized solutions specifically for generative AI and the evolving landscape of next-generation data centers.
Eddie Ramirez, vice president of go-to-market for Infrastructure Business at Arm, emphasized the necessity for advanced infrastructure. “As AI compute demands surge, the industry needs a new generation of infrastructure that is faster, more efficient, and highly scalable,” said Ramirez. He added, “By joining Arm Total Design, Rebellions is bringing advanced AI accelerators into our ecosystem, ready for integration with validated, performance-optimized Neoverse CSS, so that together we can enable the next wave of AI infrastructure innovation.”
Sunghyun Park, Co-founder and CEO of Rebellions, highlighted the strategic importance of this move. “Joining Arm Total Design marks an important step for Rebellions as we scale our high-performance, energy-efficient AI inference solutions to meet the needs of hyperscale AI data centers,” stated Park. He further elaborated, “By combining Arm’s proven Neoverse CSS with our REBEL series and upcoming products, we aim to deliver accelerators purpose-built for large-scale data centers. Together with Arm and the broader ecosystem, we are committed to enabling customers to deploy solutions that are both powerful and sustainable.”
