Richardson, Texas-based RealPage Inc., a prominent global provider of AI-enabled software platforms for the real estate industry, announced on July 29, 2025, its acquisition of San Francisco-based Rexera. Rexera is recognized for developing ‘AI agents’ specifically tailored to assist in closing real estate deals and automating various operational workflows. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
This strategic move is set to significantly bolster RealPage’s artificial intelligence capabilities within real estate transactions and operations. RealPage plans to integrate Rexera’s agentic AI workforce with its existing HomeWiseDocs platform, a company it acquired in 2021. This integration is expected to create the first nationwide platform capable of delivering real estate transactions and operations services at scale, promising enhanced speed, precision, and customer satisfaction.
The combined capabilities are designed to directly address some of the most time-consuming and manual pain points in the real estate sector. These include, but are not limited to, HOA document retrieval, lien searches, mortgage payoffs, and compliance workflows. By automating these complex processes, RealPage and Rexera aim to make them faster, more accurate, and more effortless for key stakeholders such as title agents, lenders, escrow officers, and ultimately, the buyers and sellers they serve.

Rexera, an Inman AI Award winner in 2024, is known for its customizable AI agents that automate workflows in condo sales by obtaining HOA documents and public records, extracting data, and flagging potential issues. A spokesperson for RealPage confirmed the buyout has closed and stated there are ‘no plans to adjust office footprints.’
