TLDR: The Real Brokerage has acquired Flyhomes’ AI-powered home search portal, a strategic move aimed at accelerating its vision for an AI-based concierge service for real estate agents and consumers. This acquisition integrates Flyhomes’ existing MLS integrations and data feeds into Real’s platform, enhancing lead generation and simplifying transactions without aiming to compete with major listing portals like Zillow.
The Real Brokerage, a technology-driven real estate company, has announced the acquisition of Flyhomes’ AI-powered consumer home search portal. This strategic move, revealed last week, is a significant step in Real’s ambitious technological roadmap, which includes the development of an AI-based concierge service for its agents and their clients.
According to Pritesh Damani, Real’s Chief Technology Officer, the primary motivation behind the acquisition was to accelerate the company’s long-term vision. Real aims to provide every agent with a dedicated AI phone number that, upon a consumer’s text, would activate an AI concierge. This AI would assist customers in finding homes and answering fundamental questions, effectively warming up leads before handing them over to the human agent for more in-depth conversations. Damani noted that Flyhomes had already completed the extensive work of integrating with Multiple Listing Services (MLSs) and various data feeds, making the acquisition a logical and efficient path to advance Real’s roadmap.
Tamir Poleg, Real Chairman and CEO, emphasized the synergy of the acquisition, stating, ‘By bringing Flyhomes’ consumer technology under the Real umbrella, we’re combining the best in real estate innovation to deliver a seamless, AI-powered experience—designed around people—for both agents and consumers.’ He further highlighted the integration of Flyhomes’ ‘Buy Before You Sell’ products through One Real Mortgage, which will offer agents and clients greater flexibility and control in their homeownership journey, simplifying the overall real estate transaction.
While Flyhomes developed a robust search portal with AI features, Real clarified that its intention is not to enter the ‘portal wars’ or directly compete with platforms like Zillow. Instead, the acquired technology will be integrated into Real’s existing AI-powered platform, Leo for Clients, and will support the company’s listings through aesthetically pleasing pages. The core objective remains to enhance the agent’s ability to provide a superior human experience by automating initial interactions and lead qualification.

Real’s commitment to technological innovation is evident in its previous initiatives, such as the launch of its agent-focused Fintech product, Real Wallet, and the use of Tamir Poleg’s AI likeness for Q1 2025 earnings remarks. The company believes this acquisition will ‘connect the dots between agent tools, client experience and transaction flow, all in one intelligent ecosystem.’ Both the acquisition and an accompanying equity investment in Flyhomes, intended to support its evolution into a wholesale mortgage lender, were funded using existing cash on hand and are not expected to have a material impact on Real’s financial results.
