TLDR: QAD | Redzone has acquired Kavida.ai, an agentic AI company, to integrate advanced procurement AI agents into its platform. This strategic move aims to accelerate automation across manufacturing operations, enhance supply chain reliability, and significantly improve productivity for buyers and planners by automating critical workflows and reducing manual tasks.
QAD | Redzone, a leading provider of manufacturing and supply chain solutions, announced on November 11, 2025, its acquisition of Kavida.ai, an agentic AI company specializing in automation tools for industrial businesses. This strategic move is set to bolster QAD | Redzone’s Champion AI roadmap by integrating Kavida.ai’s expertise in procurement agent training and inbox-to-ERP automation into its comprehensive portfolio.
The acquisition aims to accelerate automation across manufacturing operations, specifically targeting the removal of time-consuming manual tasks in post-order management and supplier collaboration. Kavida.ai’s procurement agents are designed to free up approximately half of a buyer’s workday by eliminating manual post-order and supplier collaboration efforts.
Sanjay Brahmawar, CEO of QAD | Redzone, emphasized the immediate value this acquisition brings to customers. “By integrating Kavida.ai’s technology and team, we’re helping our customers unlock value faster — automating critical workflows, improving supply-chain reliability, and giving every buyer, planner, and supplier a powerful digital co-pilot,” Brahmawar stated. He further added, “This isn’t about adding another AI feature, it’s about redefining how manufacturing work gets done.”
Kavida.ai’s PO, RFQ, and Sales agents will be immediately available to QAD | Redzone customers. The founders of Kavida.ai, Anam Rahman and Sumit Sinha, will assume leadership roles within QAD | Redzone. Rahman and Sinha founded Kavida.ai nearly five years ago to address the prevalent issue of many enterprises relying on email and spreadsheets for critical manufacturing processes.
QAD | Redzone’s offerings include three core interconnected components: QAD, an ERP system tailored for midmarket manufacturers; Champion AI, a suite of AI tools designed to empower the manufacturing workforce across the platform; and Redzone, a system that integrates data, AI, and automation tools for frontline workers to expedite decision-making. The integration of Kavida.ai’s technology is expected to significantly strengthen the Champion AI platform, enabling live, high-value use cases in sourcing and ERP automation.
