This certification signifies Pacific AI’s commitment to ensuring the safe, effective, and responsible deployment of artificial intelligence in healthcare through robust governance, testing, and monitoring solutions.

LEWES, Del. – October 16, 2025 – Pacific AI, a dedicated healthcare AI governance company, today announced its official certification as an Assurance Resource Provider (ARP) with the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI). This significant milestone underscores Pacific AI’s unwavering commitment to fostering the responsible, transparent, and effective integration of artificial intelligence within the healthcare sector.

CHAI, an influential industry-led coalition, is at the forefront of developing best practices and comprehensive frameworks designed to enhance innovation, safety, and security for AI applications in health. Pacific AI’s certification under CHAI’s rigorous Assurance Resource Provider process sets a crucial precedent for how AI models can be voluntarily and responsibly evaluated, tested, and brought to market more efficiently across diverse institutions and patient populations.

In a keynote address at the Applied AI Summit, Brian Anderson, President & CEO of CHAI, and David Talby, CEO of Pacific AI, are slated to elaborate on the intricacies of this certification framework, its profound importance, and what it signals for the future of trustworthy health AI. During the event, Pacific AI is also introducing advanced capabilities for its end-to-end governance platform, specifically tailored for healthcare environments.

These enhanced capabilities include:

Risk Management: Offering a centralized inventory for AI projects, comprehensive governance policies, and the ability to publish model cards directly to CHAI’s model registry.

Model Testing: Featuring automated evaluation pipelines seamlessly integrated with CI/CD, incorporating MedHELM accuracy benchmarks, specialized medical red-teaming for safety, and thorough robustness testing.

Model Monitoring: Providing continuous oversight of AI systems deployed in real-world settings, ensuring ongoing accuracy, identifying and mitigating bias, and maintaining safety standards.

Pacific AI’s platform is engineered to support 22 distinct healthcare AI governance frameworks and aligns with over 250 regulations and industry standards across more than 30 countries, including CHAI’s own assurance guidelines. The company also provides pre-built test suites specifically for generative and agentic AI systems, addressing the governance needs of the fastest-growing yet least validated class of AI applications in medicine today.

Brian Anderson, CHAI CEO, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Pacific AI as a CHAI certified Assurance Resource Provider, supporting our community by advancing effective and responsible health AI. We are driven by the engagement, expertise, and trusted capabilities of our members and the feedback of our broader health ecosystem and the public. We look forward to working together to unlock the potential benefits of AI on a foundation of trust, safety, and security.”

David Talby, CEO of Pacific AI, emphasized the company’s core mission: “Our mission is to close critical gaps in evaluating medical AI for safety, reliability, and ethics, because responsible innovation in healthcare demands it.” He further added, “We built healthcare-specific test suites that go far beyond what general-purpose AI governance and LLM testing platforms offer.”
