The top honor, the 2025 Technology Fast 50 award, was bestowed upon OTIV, a Ghent-based company revolutionizing rail automation. OTIV demonstrated an extraordinary revenue increase of 4,365.52% over the past four years, solidifying its position as Belgium’s fastest-growing tech firm.
OTIV, founded in 2020 by Niels Van Damme and Sam De Smet, specializes in cutting-edge rail automation, offering solutions for driver assistance, remote operation, and fully self-driving trains. The company operates across Europe and the United States, collaborating with leading global railway operators. This victory marks a significant milestone for OTIV, which previously won the Rising Star award in 2023, a feat only achieved by Guardsquare in the past.
