Notably, last month, OpenAI completed an an all-stock acquisition of Statsig, a company specializing in tools for software developers to experiment with new features, valued at approximately $1.1 billion. Statsig had previously secured $100 million in funding. These recent acquisitions underscore OpenAI’s growing interest in both infrastructure and diverse AI applications.

The company’s valuation has reportedly reached $500 billion, a milestone achieved after the sale of 6.6 billion shares by employees, as reported by Reuters. Furthermore, OpenAI recorded revenues of $4.3 billion in the first half of 2025, indicating a 16% increase from its total revenue in 2024.
