OPAQUE Unveils Studio for Secure, Verifiable Confidential AI Agent Development

TLDR: OPAQUE, a leader in confidential AI, has launched OPAQUE Studio, a new platform designed to accelerate the secure development and deployment of Confidential AI agents. Built on LangGraph, the studio offers runtime-verifiable trust, enabling enterprises to use sensitive proprietary data in AI workflows with end-to-end privacy, policy compliance, and auditability guarantees. This innovation addresses critical data leakage and compliance concerns, particularly in highly regulated sectors like financial services, healthcare, and insurance.

SAN FRANCISCO – October 29, 2025 – OPAQUE, a pioneering force in confidential artificial intelligence, today announced the launch of OPAQUE Studio, a groundbreaking platform aimed at accelerating the secure development of Confidential AI agents. This new offering, built on the open-source LangGraph framework, is now available on the OPAQUE Confidential AI Platform and promises to deliver runtime-verifiable trust, enabling organizations to transition AI agent deployments from pilot to production environments with unprecedented speed and confidence.

OPAQUE Studio is touted as the first platform to provide verifiable end-to-end privacy and policy compliance guarantees throughout the entire AI agent lifecycle – before, during, and after execution. This capability allows enterprises to safely deploy AI agents that are grounded in their most sensitive and proprietary data, addressing long-standing concerns over data leakage and regulatory compliance.

According to Aaron Fulkerson, CEO of OPAQUE, “A company’s most valuable asset and differentiator is its proprietary data, which has become even more critical in an AI-driven world. Enterprises are desperate to adopt AI agents, but data privacy has been the biggest roadblock.” He emphasized that OPAQUE’s platform offers “verifiable proof—not just promises—that privacy and compliance are enforced before, during, and after execution. This transforms AI from a liability into the most trusted, high-quality asset.”

The adoption of confidential AI has rapidly evolved from theory to mandate within just 12 months, gaining endorsements from industry giants such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Anthropic, and major hyperscalers including Google, Microsoft Azure, and AWS. Gartner highlights confidential AI as a foundational requirement for enterprise AI adoption, especially in sectors like financial services, healthcare, and insurance. The research firm also warns that enterprises failing to demonstrate privacy compliance in AI workflows could lag behind competitors by as much as two years in AI adoption.

Traditional security measures, such as Identity and Access Management, often fall short in protecting against the non-deterministic, machine-speed nature of AI agents executing probabilistic code. OPAQUE’s platform directly tackles this challenge, making the development and deployment of confidential agents a secure reality.

The OPAQUE Confidential AI Platform comprises two core components: OPAQUE Studio: A LangGraph-based environment facilitating rapid development and deployment of confidential AI agents through drag-and-drop workflows, policy-enforced data access, and seamless integration with enterprise systems for AI grounding. OPAQUE Confidential Runtime: A hardware-attested execution engine that powers OPAQUE Studio, offering verifiable privacy guarantees through integrity/configuration attestation (pre-execution), cryptographic policy enforcement, runtime data encryption, and workload isolation (during execution), and hardware-signed audit reports/logs for compliance (post-execution).

This innovative platform promises significant operational advantages, including a 4–5x faster AI deployment speed with verifiable guarantees, a 67% reduction in deployment costs, and an impressive accuracy improvement of up to 99% when safely grounding AI with sensitive proprietary data, effectively mitigating hallucinations compared to generic foundation models.

Harrison Chase, co-founder and CEO of LangChain, commented on the collaboration: “We built LangGraph to make it easier for developers to build multi-agent systems with structure and reliability. By integrating with OPAQUE, developers now have access to tools that aim to enhance privacy and runtime trust when working with sensitive data.”

OPAQUE’s technology is already transforming workflows in highly regulated industries. In insurance, it enables confidential copilots for underwriting and claims processing. Financial services benefit from secure AI agents that analyze and generate complex documents without risking sensitive data leaks. Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) can leverage verifiable privacy and compliance guarantees to expedite customer deals.
