NPrep, an innovative healthcare AI platform focused on empowering nursing students and professionals, has announced the successful closure of its pre-seed funding round, securing an undisclosed sum. The investment was spearheaded by All In Capital, with significant contributions from IIMA Ventures, American educational technology company Chegg (or its founder Aayush Phumbhra), and a consortium of family offices and angel investors.
The newly acquired capital is earmarked for several strategic initiatives designed to bolster NPrep’s mission. Key areas of investment include expanding its comprehensive course offerings, further developing and strengthening its cutting-edge AI-driven learning platform, and deepening its crucial placement partnerships with hospitals and healthcare institutions throughout India. Additionally, NPrep plans to enhance its regional language support, aiming to better serve students from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the nation.
Founded in 2024 by a team of distinguished AIIMS Jodhpur alumni – Dr. Prince Kaushik (who also serves as CEO), Dr. Utkarsh Paliwal, and Dr. Gourav – alongside AI/ML expert Shrey Gupta, NPrep was established to tackle the pressing issues of inadequate quality nursing education and the lack of structured career pathways in India. The platform leverages advanced generative AI to create highly personalized learning paths, adapting to each student’s unique strengths and weaknesses. It also incorporates simulated real-world clinical scenarios to provide superior skill training and delivers instant feedback, crucial for practical learning.
NPrep’s platform is designed to comprehensively support students, offering mock interviews, resume building assistance, and automated assessment tools, all aimed at significantly improving their job readiness. The company has demonstrated rapid growth, reportedly reaching more than 2 million learners every month. In the first six months of 2025 alone, NPrep has expanded its user base to 40,000 students. Looking ahead, NPrep has ambitious plans to expand its placement services domestically in the fiscal year 2026 and venture into international markets by fiscal year 2027, building upon its strong foundation of medical and technological expertise.
