Greater Noida, September 26, 2025 – Noida International University (NIU), in a significant move to address the evolving landscape of legal education and practice, has successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) focused on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Law. The virtual program, held from September 20th to September 26th, 2025, was a collaborative effort between NIU’s School of Law and Legal Affairs and the School of Law, Justice and Governance at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida.
The FDP, aptly themed ‘Artificial Intelligence: Transforming Justice, Research and Legal Education,’ was designed to offer comprehensive insights into the profound impact of AI on various facets of the legal domain. Sessions were conducted daily from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, providing participants with a focused and intensive learning experience.
The primary objective of the program was to equip faculty members with a deeper understanding of how artificial intelligence is reshaping justice delivery systems, advancing methodologies in legal research, and influencing contemporary approaches to legal education. This initiative underscores the growing recognition within academic circles of the imperative to integrate AI literacy into legal curricula and professional development.

Participation in the FDP required a registration fee of Rs. 300, with the deadline for registration set for 1:00 PM on September 20th, 2025.
