NiCE and Salesforce Deepen Alliance to Revolutionize AI-Powered Customer Service

TLDR: NiCE and Salesforce have significantly expanded their strategic partnership, focusing on a deeper integration of NiCE CXone Mpower with Salesforce Service Cloud. This collaboration aims to deliver seamless, AI-driven customer experiences by enabling advanced features like ‘Bring Your Own Contact Center’ and establishing a groundbreaking Zero Copy integration for unified data, enhancing intelligent orchestration and real-time customer insights.

Hoboken, N.J. – NiCE (NASDAQ: NICE) and Salesforce have announced a major expansion of their strategic partnership, aiming to redefine the landscape of AI-driven customer experiences. This enhanced collaboration focuses on a deeper integration between NiCE CXone Mpower and Salesforce Service Cloud, building upon their successful 2022 launch of ‘Bring Your Own Telephony’ with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.

The core of this renewed alliance is to provide seamless, intelligently orchestrated customer interactions. The companies will further invest in enabling ‘Bring Your Own Contact Center’ capabilities, incorporating customer-managed channels and NiCE’s leading Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) features directly within the Service Cloud unified desktop. This move is designed to empower businesses to deliver comprehensive customer service experiences.

A significant aspect of this expanded partnership is NiCE’s intention to join the Salesforce Zero Copy Partner Network. NiCE will be the first contact center ecosystem provider to enable a bidirectional Zero Copy integration with Salesforce Data Cloud. This innovative integration aims to unify contact center interaction insights with CRM data, effectively eliminating data silos and unlocking critical information to accelerate AI-driven experiences across both platforms. Shared customers, numbering in the hundreds of thousands, will benefit from a shared data foundation that enables real-time AI-driven orchestration with complete experience context.

Kishan Chetan, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Service Cloud at Salesforce, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership, stating, “Strengthening our partnership with NiCE will help organizations further provide deeply unified customer service experiences. Together, we’re helping organizations move beyond channel silos and orchestrate intelligent, outcomes-driven interactions at scale, ultimately delivering greater value to our mutual customer through continued innovation.”

Barry Cooper, President of NiCE’s CX Division, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the forward-looking vision: “This renewed partnership with Salesforce marks more than just deeper integration, it signals a vision for the future of customer service. Together, we will collaborate to help businesses move from disconnected touchpoints to intelligently orchestrated experiences that span the entire customer journey. As our partnership grows, so does our commitment to helping our mutual customers lead the way in AI-powered service.”

This collaboration allows organizations to leverage CXone Mpower’s orchestration engine and AI solutions directly within Salesforce Service Cloud’s desktop interface. Joint customers will experience a unified service environment where interactions can transition smoothly between autonomous AI agents and human representatives while maintaining full conversation context and Salesforce records. Supervisors will also gain the ability to access conversations for real-time coaching when complex issues arise.

The expansion comes at a time of significant growth in the AI in customer experience market, which MarketsandMarkets projects to grow 23% annually, reaching an estimated $32 billion by 2027. This partnership positions both NiCE and Salesforce to capitalize on this trend, offering more flexible and secure service options to their clients.
