TLDR: New Generation, a provider of AI internet infrastructure, has launched its AI-native storefront platform designed to facilitate ‘agentic commerce.’ This innovative platform enables secure, AI-initiated transactions, allowing AI agents to seamlessly complete purchases across various digital channels. The move comes as generative AI sources drive a significant surge in retail website traffic, highlighting a shift towards conversational and AI-driven shopping experiences.
New Generation, a company focused on building infrastructure for the AI internet, has officially debuted its AI-native storefront platform, marking a significant step forward in the realm of ‘agentic commerce.’ The newly launched platform is engineered to enable secure, AI-initiated transactions, allowing artificial intelligence agents to swiftly and securely complete checkouts from merchant websites. This functionality extends across chat, voice, and is poised to integrate with emerging agent-driven channels.
The company is leveraging Visa’s robust payments infrastructure and stands as one of the initial collaborators within the Visa Intelligent Commerce sandbox. This partnership underscores the platform’s commitment to secure and efficient transaction processing in the evolving digital commerce landscape.
The introduction of this platform is timely, as recent consumer behavior data indicates a dramatic shift in online shopping. Traffic to U.S. retail websites originating from generative AI sources witnessed an astounding increase of over 1,200% between July 2024 and February 2025. These AI-driven users demonstrate a clear preference for highly personalized recommendations, exhibit a higher propensity to convert, and tend to spend more compared to traditional website visitors.
New Generation’s solution addresses this paradigm shift by transforming conventional, static product catalogs into structured, AI-readable data. These intelligent storefronts are hosted on custom subdomains, such as ‘ai.brand.com,’ providing a dual-purpose interface. For human shoppers, the platform offers a personalized, conversational experience, while AI agents can programmatically access the same rich product information.
Adam Behrens, co-founder of New Generation, emphasized the urgency of this innovation, stating, “Shopping behavior is changing rapidly, and brands are having a hard time keeping up. Now, shopping starts with a conversation, not a search bar.” He further elaborated on the company’s vision: “We’re starting by helping brands serve AI agents and people in the same place, with personalized, structured storefronts built for natural language. That means turning product catalogs into structured, AI-readable data, so brands are equipped to welcome the next wave of customers, both human and AI.”

This investment has positioned the company to redefine digital commerce for both human consumers and AI-powered shopping agents, ensuring brands are well-equipped for the conversational, AI-first future of retail.
