This significant investment is poised to bolster the company’s efforts in accelerating innovation for AI data centers and modernizing network infrastructure to meet surging global market demand.
The funding round was spearheaded by NGP Capital, with notable participation from Sorenson Capital and Headline. Existing investors, including Flybridge Capital, Notable Capital, Mango Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Two Sigma Ventures, and IBM Corp., also reaffirmed their commitment by participating in this round. This latest infusion brings NetBox Labs’ total funding to $55 million, following a $20 million Series A round in 2023.
NetBox Labs serves as the commercial steward and a primary contributor to the open-source NetBox project, a widely adopted network and infrastructure management stack. The platform is designed to help data center operators navigate the increasing complexity of their rapidly expanding networks, offering a more robust and automated solution compared to traditional, often cumbersome, spreadsheet-based management systems. It functions as a ‘central nervous system’ for data center networks, providing essential capabilities such as IP address management and data center resource management through its feature-rich NetBox Cloud offering.
