Bengaluru, India – NetApp, a leading intelligent data infrastructure company, recently concluded the Demo Day for the 14th cohort of its acclaimed Excellerator program. The event, held in Bengaluru on November 10, 2025, brought together founders, engineers, and enterprise buyers to witness groundbreaking innovations from five promising deep-tech startups operating at the critical intersection of AI, data, and cloud infrastructure.
The showcased startups included Synthefy, Filo Systems, TrueFoundry, Sentra, and Genloop.ai. These companies have undergone an intensive, mentorship-driven journey, working closely with NetApp’s global engineering and leadership teams to refine their solutions, validate scalability, and explore proof-of-concept (PoC) opportunities with NetApp customers and partners.
The cohort’s innovations span various crucial areas, including customizable Large Language Models (LLMs), advanced cloud security, multi-modal generative AI models, and robust AI infrastructure. For instance, Synthefy demonstrated tools for advanced algorithms and deep learning models, including a foundation model for multi-modal time series data. Filo Systems focused on optimizing storage and bandwidth, while Genloop.ai presented solutions for rapid LLM deployment, transforming proprietary data into tailored AI applications.
Vasanthi Ramesh, VP & Engineering Head, NetApp India, emphasized the program’s mission, stating, “Through NetApp Excellerator, we aim to nurture innovation that has real-world impact — supporting startups building the next generation of data and AI infrastructure. Since its inception in 2017, the NetApp Excellerator program has accelerated over 90 startups across 13 cohorts, with alumni collectively raising more than $600 million and achieving eight successful exits. Recognized among the top five accelerator programs in India for corporate innovation by the NexTT Awards, the Excellerator continues to play a pivotal role in fostering innovation-driven businesses and strengthening India’s position as a global technology hub.
