Nebius Launches Global Awards Program to Advance Robotics and Physical AI Innovation

TLDR: Nebius has introduced the Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards, a worldwide initiative designed to discover and empower innovative startups and scale-ups in the fields of robotics and vision AI. The program offers significant support, including up to $150,000 in Nebius AI Cloud compute credits, powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure, alongside unparalleled global exposure and networking opportunities with industry leaders. The awards aim to accelerate the development of technologies that merge robotics with artificial intelligence to redefine how the physical world is understood and automated.

Nebius, a prominent player in the AI infrastructure market, has officially launched the Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards, a new global program aimed at fostering innovation within the rapidly evolving sectors of robotics and vision AI. This initiative seeks to identify and support both early-stage startups and more mature scale-ups that are developing cutting-edge solutions in embodied robotics, autonomous systems, and streaming video analytics. The awards are open to companies across Asia, Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other regions, encouraging a diverse pool of applicants working at the intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Winners of the Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards will receive substantial prizes, including up to $150,000 in compute credits for Nebius AI Cloud, which is accelerated by NVIDIA’s advanced AI infrastructure. Beyond financial support, the program offers invaluable global visibility, direct access to leading technology executives and researchers, and opportunities for one-on-one coaching with Nebius executives, as well as introductions to potential investors.

The awards program is structured around five key categories, reflecting the diverse applications and foundational technologies within physical AI:

Foundation Models, Robot Brains and Runtime: Focusing on large-scale multimodal AI models, vision-language-action models, and the runtime infrastructure essential for next-generation autonomous systems.

Data Engines, Synthetic Data and Simulation: Highlighting data platforms, synthetic data tools, simulation environments, and digital twins that enable scalable training and validation of AI models.

Industrial Robotics Deployment: Recognizing solutions for critical sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, energy, and healthcare.

Vision AI: Encompassing innovations in smart cities, safety compliance, and industrial monitoring.

Benchmarking Platforms: Supporting the development of tools and methodologies for evaluating AI and robotics performance.

Entries will be rigorously evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising leaders from Nebius, NVIDIA, and other top global technology companies and academic institutions. Projects will be assessed based on several crucial criteria, including technical innovation, real-world implementation, market potential, product-market fit, and responsible impact.

The awards culminate in the Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Summit & Awards Ceremony, scheduled to take place on December 9, 2025, at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. This summit will feature engaging panel discussions, extensive networking opportunities, and showcases for startups, investors, corporate innovators, and researchers.
