Ajay Thakur brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished career, most notably as a founding member and Head of the Cognitive Computing team at Uber. During his tenure at Uber, Thakur played a pivotal role in constructing the company’s initial public cloud architecture for omni-channel conversational platforms, a system that yielded substantial annual cost savings and incremental revenue. He also spearheaded Uber’s generative AI Center of Excellence, overseeing the successful deployment of the first four large language model (LLM) solutions into production, which significantly contributed to annualized savings and growth. Prior to his impactful work at Uber, Thakur held engineering positions at prominent technology companies including Cisco, Drivewyze, and Trimble Navigation.
In his new role at Movius, Thakur will be responsible for guiding the evolution of the company’s core platforms and AI initiatives. His expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and conversational platforms is expected to be a key asset in driving innovation in secure communications.
