Luton Technologies, a prominent artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, has unveiled a significant initiative aimed at bolstering AI literacy and accessibility. On November 6, 2025, the company announced the distribution of free online AI education vouchers to 200 individuals identified as vulnerable groups, including students, job seekers, small business owners, the disabled, North Korean defectors, and the elderly. This program is set to expand, with plans to reach approximately 1,000 beneficiaries by the first half of next year.
In a collaborative effort, Luton Technologies partnered with Ableon, an AI literacy education firm, and Infron, an online education platform, to facilitate this voucher distribution. Each voucher, valued at 200,000 won, grants access to a diverse AI education curriculum. This curriculum covers essential topics such as ‘Understanding Generative AI for AI beginners,’ ‘Promoting basics for AI tools,’ ‘AI ethics and proper usage,’ ‘Preventing voice phishing with AI,’ ‘Shop marketing using AI,’ and ‘Trimming with self-introduction AI.’
Beyond the immediate voucher program, Luton Technologies is committed to long-term AI development. The company revealed plans to develop its proprietary AI education curriculum and an AI competency and aptitude certification system, slated for introduction in the near future. This curriculum will encompass foundational concepts and technologies of generative AI for novices, practical utilization of major AI services, and specialized training courses for aspiring AI agent developers.
Park Min-joon, CEO of Luton AX, emphasized the broader societal impact of these efforts. ‘A society’s AX capabilities are directly related to each individual’s AI literacy capabilities,’ stated Park Min-joon. ‘We will take the lead in strengthening AI competitiveness in our society as a whole by continuously expanding the targets of AI vouchers.’ This statement underscores Luton Technologies’ vision to foster a more AI-competent society.
