LinqAlpha Forges Strategic Alliance with Microsoft Through Majung Program to Bolster Secure Cloud-Native Financial AI Infrastructure

TLDR: LinqAlpha, a leading multi-agent AI investment research platform, has announced its partnership with Microsoft via the 2025 Majung Program. This collaboration aims to build LinqAlpha’s platform cloud-natively on Microsoft Azure’s private cloud, significantly enhancing data security, deployment flexibility, and interoperability for financial institutions. The initiative underscores a commitment to delivering robust, compliant, and scalable AI solutions to the financial sector.

NEW YORK, July 14, 2025 – LinqAlpha, a pioneering multi-agent AI investment research platform, has officially joined forces with Microsoft through the prestigious 2025 Majung Program. This strategic partnership is set to revolutionize financial AI infrastructure by developing LinqAlpha’s platform cloud-natively on Microsoft Azure’s private cloud, promising unparalleled advancements in data security, deployment flexibility, and interoperability for financial institutions.

LinqAlpha, founded in Boston in 2022 by MIT CS PhDs and former Goldman Sachs bankers, has rapidly established itself as a critical tool, powering workflows at over 170 financial institutions, including leading investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds. Its platform leverages generative AI and multi-agent systems to efficiently extract, analyze, and synthesize vast amounts of unstructured financial data, such as earnings transcripts, regulatory filings, analyst reports, and macroeconomic commentary. This capability empowers financial professionals to make faster and more accurate investment decisions.

Selected for the 2025 Majung Program, a Microsoft-supported startup initiative co-led by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups, LinqAlpha will receive substantial support. The program provides commercialization funding, Azure cloud credits, comprehensive technical support, and crucial go-to-market assistance for startups focused on building cloud-native B2B platforms. LinqAlpha’s inclusion in this program is a testament to its technical maturity and its alignment with the complex demands of institutional-scale AI use cases.

Under this collaboration, LinqAlpha will integrate Azure-native services, including Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI Service. This integration will enable secure, in-environment deployments that rigorously meet the stringent compliance and performance requirements of the financial sector, adhering to frameworks like GDPR and DORA. The move to Azure’s private cloud is envisioned as creating a ‘Fort Knox for financial AI,’ ensuring that sensitive financial data is processed with the highest levels of security and compliance.

Suyeol Yun, Principal AI Engineer, and Gukyoung Jeong, Systems Architect at LinqAlpha, expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, ‘Through the program we’ve strengthened the resilience, security, and scalability of our infrastructure. We’re excited to deliver trusted and seamless AI-powered research capabilities to our clients across the financial sector.’
