Vientiane, Laos – In a landmark event for the nation’s burgeoning marketing landscape, Muan Specialty, in collaboration with CREATIVE TALK, successfully hosted Laos’s first full-scale marketing conference and workshop, CTC LAOS MARKETING 2025. The two-day event, held at the Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane from July 26 to 27, 2025, aimed to significantly improve digital marketing knowledge and capabilities within the country.
The conference drew an impressive attendance of over 200 participants and featured a diverse panel of 10 speakers from both Laos and Thailand, alongside 8 sponsors and 17 media partners. The agenda was packed with keynote talks and hands-on workshops designed to equip marketers, online sellers, and content creators with the tools and insights needed to navigate the rapidly evolving marketing environment.
The opening remarks set a clear tone for the conference, with Sittipong Sirimaskasem, CEO of RGB72 and CREATIVE TALK, and Mangkonephet Sayyasane, CEO of Muan and Chief Creative Officer of BIZGITAL/LOCA, emphasizing the central role of marketing in every business. Sirimaskasem particularly highlighted the urgent need for marketers to embrace new technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence.
Key sessions delved into critical topics such as current marketing trends, shifting consumer behavior, essential future skills for marketers, and strategies for effective online campaigns. A significant portion of the discussions revolved around the integration of AI in marketing.
Thai speakers, including Sittinunt Pholvisutsak, CEO of Content Shifu; Chaweewan Kongchoksamai, Managing Director of RGB72 and CREATIVE TALK; and Wutthipong Likitchiwan, Owner of ArTee Review and CEO of VEGA Creator, shared their expertise on how AI tools, particularly Generative AI, are reshaping content creation and advertising. They also addressed the rising costs associated with digital advertising.
Lao experts, such as Souphanith Vongsangthong, Marketing Communications Professional; Bounhou Alunvong, CEO of Merbiz Consulting; and Phatxalin Phanouvong, Cluster Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane, focused on how local businesses can adapt to changing customer expectations by building trust and leveraging AI-driven insights effectively.
Looking ahead, Sittipong Sirimaskasem outlined crucial skills for marketers in 2026, including critical thinking, storytelling, and people management, underscoring the increasing influence of AI in the workforce. Sittinunt Pholvisutsak provided actionable strategies for enhancing online marketing through clear goal setting, deep customer understanding, and continuous campaign refinement.
The conference also featured five specialized workshops covering content strategy, storytelling for sales, business model planning, practical AI applications in marketing, and digital marketing strategy. These workshops were led by industry experts, including Chayanis Jumpeerat, Editor-in-Chief of CREATIVE TALK, and Narongyot Mahitivanicha, Head of Growth at TWF Agency.
