KT has announced the deployment of ‘AI Faith 2.0’, its advanced Korean language-specialized Large Language Model (LLM), to significantly improve administrative efficiency within Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. This strategic move is part of an 11-month project designed to integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence into the provincial government’s operational framework.
The core of this initiative involves applying ‘Mideum 2.0’ (Faith 2.0) to various administrative functions, supported by KT’s integrated LLM operating platform, ‘KT AI Studio’. The platform will provide services based on administrative specialized AI models, facilitating practical AI tasks such as automated document creation, streamlined meeting management, and enhanced information retrieval within the Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s administrative system.
This collaborative effort sees the participation of five key companies, including KT, MTdata, WISEnut, Konan Technology, and DaiShin Information & Communications, pooling their expertise to drive this digital transformation.

KT’s broader vision, as articulated earlier in 2025, is to transition into an ‘AICT company,’ focusing on developing ‘Korean AI’ that understands the nuances of the Korean language, society, history, and national perspective, while adhering to domestic regulations. The company has committed substantial investment, with plans to spend 7 trillion won ($5.4 billion) by 2025 on AI development, including 4 trillion won for large-scale AI technologies, 2 trillion won for AI infrastructure and cloud services, and 1 trillion won for new AI service models in sectors like robotics, education, and healthcare. KT anticipates generating at least 1 trillion won in annual revenue from its AI businesses by 2025.
