TLDR: Krow Group, a Mission Group agency, has officially launched Krow Social, a new standalone social media division. This expansion comes in response to a significant increase in social-first briefs from clients, driven by the growing demand for specialized social activations. Led by Managing Director Owen Farrington and Group Executive Creative Director Ashika Chauhan, Krow Social will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including generative AI content, to help brands excel in the dynamic social media landscape.
Krow Group, an agency within the Mission Group, has announced the establishment of Krow Social, a dedicated social media division. This strategic move is a direct response to a surge in client demand for specialized social media expertise, following the success of Krow’s integrated campaigns. The new division aims to provide end-to-end social media solutions, leveraging creative energy, strategic depth, and collaborative approaches to connect brand ambitions with tangible real-world actions.
Krow Social will be jointly led by Owen Farrington, who takes on the role of Managing Director, and Ashika Chauhan, the Group Executive Creative Director. Farrington brings two decades of experience in developing digital, social, and creator-led campaigns for prominent global brands. Chauhan, who already heads Krow Group’s in-house content studio, will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of the new division.
The decision to launch a standalone division stems from a noticeable increase in social briefs, indicating a clear market need for more focused support in this rapidly evolving area. While Krow Group previously had a social department, the heightened demand necessitated an expanded and specialized offering.
Krow Social’s service portfolio is extensive, encompassing audits, insight and strategy development, social SEO, content creation, influencer marketing, and generative AI content. This comprehensive approach is designed to empower brands to thrive in the fast-paced social media environment.
Darren Jones, Senior Social Media Manager at Post Office, lauded Krow Group’s impact, stating, ‘Working with Krow Group has transformed how we show up on social. Their blend of strategic insight, creativity, and deep understanding of audience behaviour ensures every campaign connects. Seeing them grow their social offering feels like an exciting, natural next step – and we’re thrilled to continue building together.’
Owen Farrington commented on the division’s inception, ‘The surge in social-first projects we’ve seen over the past year made it clear that brands are looking for more specialist support. Krow Social brings together the creative energy, strategic depth, and collaboration we’re known for but focused purely on helping brands thrive in the fast paced social world.’

This expansion follows Krow Group’s earlier launch of a global automotive marketing agency this year, after the acquisition of April Six Mobility. That division, Krow Kinetic, is led by CEO Sam Smith and serves clients such as BMW Group, Stellantis, VW Group, and AVL. The establishment of Krow Social further solidifies Krow Group’s commitment to diversifying and specializing its marketing services to meet contemporary client needs.
