TLDR: JAGGAER has introduced JAI, an advanced AI Co-Pilot designed to revolutionize the procurement sector. Unveiled at the REV2025 conference, JAI acts as an intelligent orchestrator, offering features like conversational Q&A, anomaly detection, and AI-powered content generation. It aims to evolve from an assistant to a co-pilot, providing real-time insights and strategic guidance, eventually reaching an ‘autopilot’ stage for autonomous workflow management, all while keeping a ‘Human in the Loop’ for strategic oversight.
Miami, FL – July 10, 2025 – JAGGAER, a global leader in procurement solutions, has officially unveiled JAI (pronounced ‘Jay’), its groundbreaking AI Co-Pilot, at the highly anticipated REV2025 conference held at Miami’s luxurious Turnberry Resort. This introduction marks a significant leap forward in transforming enterprise procurement, promising to empower teams to save time, enhance decision-making, and unlock unprecedented value.
JAI is positioned as an intelligent AI orchestrator, designed to serve as a strategic co-pilot for procurement professionals. It transcends the capabilities of traditional chatbots by integrating sophisticated features seamlessly within the JAGGAER One platform. Key functionalities include conversational Q&A, automated anomaly detection in purchase order invoices, AI-powered content generation, and comprehensive workflow orchestration. This holistic approach aims to streamline operations and provide intuitive, efficient user experiences.
According to JAGGAER, JAI’s development follows a progressive trajectory, evolving from an ‘assistant’ to a ‘co-pilot’ and ultimately to an ‘autopilot.’ The initial ‘JAI Assist’ phase, available to customers now, functions as a conversational assistant, answering questions, guiding navigation, and initiating tasks such as Request for Proposal (RFP) creation and supplier evaluation. Later in 2025, the ‘JAI Copilot’ will roll out, offering more advanced contextual support by identifying outliers, suggesting actionable strategies, and providing real-time guidance across critical procurement areas like sourcing, contracting, and supplier management, thereby saving hours of analysis time.
The ultimate vision for JAI is the ‘Autopilot’ stage, where it will autonomously manage complex procurement workflows using a no-code/low-code agentic platform. This will allow procurement experts to dedicate their focus to strategic management and high-level oversight, while preserving the essential ‘Human in the Loop’ methodology to ensure control and critical decision-making remain with human users.
Andrew Roszko, CEO at JAGGAER, emphasized the company’s mission to transform the procurement landscape. Gopinath Polavarapu, Chief Digital & AI Officer, and Jon Lawrence, Chief Product Officer, highlighted JAI’s capacity for continuous improvement through rapid iteration and close collaboration with customers. Lawrence stated, “This isn’t about adding AI to procurement. It’s about transforming procurement into an intelligent system—one that learns, adapts, and gets better with every decision. JAI is how we’ll scale expertise, accelerate outcomes, and unlock a new era of value for our customers.”
