This partnership, announced around October 10-13, 2025, is set to address the pervasive administrative inefficiencies that currently plague healthcare systems, impacting both operational capacity and patient care.
Infinitus Systems, known for managing over 100 million minutes of clinical and administrative conversations, specializes in AI agents designed to automate and expedite communication-heavy workflows. These include tasks such as handling faxes, phone calls, and voicemails, which traditionally consume substantial administrative time and often delay care. The company reports that processes that once required 24-48 hours can now be completed in mere seconds to a few hours, significantly improving patient access and overall experience.
The collaboration with Outshift by Cisco focuses on scaling Infinitus’s AI capabilities across healthcare organizations. This involves orchestrating multiple interoperable agents to serve clinicians, patients, and administrative teams more efficiently. The core objective is to introduce a secure, distributed orchestration layer for AI within healthcare systems.
