Indonesian Tech Firm BINAR Acquires China’s QUTKE AI Platform, Launches SINCRO for Enterprise Automation

TLDR: Indonesian digital transformation and edtech startup BINAR has acquired the technology and core R&D talent of China-built AI platform QUTKE. This strategic move, announced on July 22, 2025, aims to launch SINCRO, a new AI-native execution infrastructure designed to automate internal business workflows and facilitate no-code AI agent deployment for enterprises and educational institutions.

JAKARTA, Indonesia – In a significant development for the regional artificial intelligence landscape, Indonesian digital transformation and edtech startup BINAR announced on Monday, July 22, 2025, its acquisition of the technology and core research and development talent behind QUTKE, a no-code AI agent builder developed in China. While the financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, this strategic move is set to pave the way for BINAR to introduce its new platform, SINCRO.

SINCRO is envisioned as an AI-native execution infrastructure specifically designed to automate internal business workflows at scale. The platform boasts the capability for users to build and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents in under two weeks, all without requiring any coding expertise. It is primarily targeted at corporate users who may not possess technical backgrounds, offering full integration with widely used enterprise tools such such as ERP systems, Google Suite, and WhatsApp.

As part of the transaction, BINAR has appointed QUTKE’s founding team to key leadership positions, including Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Furthermore, BINAR is establishing new AI engineering hubs in both China and Indonesia, signaling a robust commitment to expanding its AI capabilities and talent pool.

Alamanda Shantika, CEO of BINAR, stated the company’s intent to leverage its extensive existing client base to accelerate SINCRO’s adoption. BINAR has a strong track record, having collaborated with over 100 corporate clients since its establishment in 2016. Beyond the corporate sector, SINCRO is also slated for integration into the education sector, with plans to embed it into school curricula and training institutions. A pilot program is already set to launch in a major international school, targeting students from grade 6 through senior high school, promoting a hands-on approach to AI education where learners can build practical AI agents rather than just theoretical study.

BINAR’s long-term strategy extends beyond mere software delivery, aiming to construct a scalable and defensible infrastructure layer for AI across both enterprise and education sectors. The company plans to monetize SINCRO through SaaS subscriptions, curriculum licensing, and teacher training. To support the national and regional scaling of this new platform, BINAR is currently open to strategic fundraising.
