Central to this initiative is the implementation of a novel voucher-based model. This system is designed to provide affordable and equitable access to critical compute power for a diverse range of stakeholders, including burgeoning startups, academic researchers, and established enterprises. The goal is to eliminate barriers to entry for AI development, ensuring that advanced computing resources are not limited to a select few.
The latest phase of this expansion saw the addition of 3,850 GPUs through a third tender. This procurement includes a mix of cutting-edge hardware, specifically Google Trillium TPUs and Nvidia H100 GPUs, indicating a commitment to leveraging diverse and powerful technologies to support the AI ecosystem.
