OpenAI, for instance, is reportedly planning to launch its ‘Operator’ AI agent in January 2025, designed to automate online transactions and integrate seamlessly with devices, and has introduced ‘Swarm’ for collaborative AI agent tasks.

Furthermore, the intensifying AI arms race between the U.S. and China is channeling unprecedented investments into AI research and infrastructure, shifting priorities from safety to strategic advantage. Ultimately, UAGI poses a direct threat to human life.
