TLDR: HubSpot’s AI agent platform, including the independently developed Agent.ai and the newly introduced Breeze Agents, has reportedly surpassed two million users. This significant milestone underscores the growing demand for autonomous AI solutions in business operations, particularly across sales, marketing, and customer service functions.
HubSpot’s foray into artificial intelligence agents has reached a significant milestone, with reports indicating that over two million individuals are now actively utilizing its AI agent platform. This impressive user adoption highlights the increasing demand for intelligent automation tools within the business ecosystem.
The journey began with Agent.ai, an agentic AI platform spearheaded by HubSpot Founder and current CTO Dharmesh Shah. Launched during HubSpot’s INBOUND 2024 event, Agent.ai was conceived as a network of autonomous AI agents designed to address various business use cases, including service, sales, and marketing. These agents were built to collaborate and automate multi-step processes, allowing users to scout, test, and deploy them within their existing CX ecosystems. By February 3, 2025, Agent.ai had already surged past 500,000 users, demonstrating a remarkable tenfold growth in just six months from its 250,000 user base at the turn of the year. Shah expressed his excitement on LinkedIn, thanking users and acknowledging the over 13,000 ratings and reviews that help in the discovery of the best agents. He also noted the participation of over 5,000 individuals who utilized the platform’s low-code tool to build their own custom agents.
While Agent.ai initially operated independently from HubSpot, Shah openly expressed his aspiration for the platform to eventually integrate into the CRM giant’s core offerings. This mirrors the trajectory of his previous project, “ChatSpot,” which was successfully incorporated into HubSpot as “Breeze Copilot.”
Further solidifying HubSpot’s commitment to AI, the company unveiled its new “Breeze Agents,” “Breeze Marketplace,” and “Breeze Studio” as part of its Fall 2025 Spotlight announcements on September 3, 2025, and September 8, 2025. These new offerings provide go-to-market teams with comprehensive tools to build, customize, and deploy AI teammates, all powered by unified data for complete business context. The Breeze Marketplace offers prebuilt agents ready for integration, while Breeze Studio serves as a dedicated space for creating and managing custom AI assistants and agents.
HubSpot has embedded AI across its entire platform to help businesses of all sizes leverage this technology without requiring massive teams or budgets. As of April 10, 2025, HubSpot customers were already using “Customer Agent” to resolve over 50% of support tickets, leading to nearly 40% less time spent on closing tickets. These enhanced agents can identify knowledge gaps, provide personalized answers (such as order status), learn from unstructured data like PDFs and website content, and operate across multiple channels including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and email.

The rapid adoption, culminating in over two million users across HubSpot’s AI agent platforms, underscores a pivotal shift in how businesses are approaching efficiency and customer engagement through intelligent automation. Karen Ng, EVP of Product at HubSpot, emphasized this point, stating, “AI transformation is happening whether we’re ready or not.” The company believes the future belongs to businesses that build hybrid human-AI teams, where smart people and smart systems combine to achieve exponential growth.
