Huawei’s Premium Broadband Solution Recognized for AI Excellence in Fibre Networks at Network X 2025

TLDR: Huawei’s Premium Broadband Solution has been honored with the ‘Best Network AI Solution for Fibre Networks’ award at Network X 2025. This recognition highlights the solution’s advanced algorithms and the HBBMaster system, which acts as a ‘smart brain’ for home broadband operations, enabling automatic diagnosis and optimization of user experiences in the rapidly expanding fibre network market.

Paris, France – October 16, 2025 – Huawei has once again demonstrated its leadership in the all-optical network domain, securing three prestigious awards at the Network X 2025 ceremony. Among these accolades, the company’s Premium Broadband Solution received the ‘Best Network AI Solution for Fibre Networks’ award, underscoring its technological prowess and innovative approach to managing home broadband experiences.

The award-winning Premium Broadband Solution, enhanced by intelligent technologies, features the industry’s first Customer Experience Index (CEI) system. This groundbreaking system addresses a long-standing challenge by making user experience measurable and visible, thereby empowering carriers to effectively optimize service quality. A cornerstone of this solution is HBBMaster, an intelligent operational ‘smart brain’ that utilizes advanced algorithms to automatically diagnose complex network issues and provide rapid, actionable solutions, significantly improving user experiences.

According to Kim Jin, Vice President of Huawei Optical Business Product Line, these innovations are poised to unlock new growth opportunities within the trillion-dollar home broadband market. The integration of the CEI system and HBBMaster exemplifies Huawei’s commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver superior performance and operational efficiency in fibre networks.

In addition to the ‘Best Network AI Solution for Fibre Networks’ award, Huawei also received the ‘Most Innovative Optical Transport Use Case’ for its advancements in ultra-high-speed networks, including 400G/800G and B1T ultra-high-speed transmission, C+L-band ultra-wide spectrum, and end-to-end OXC switching. The company was also recognized with the ‘Outstanding Green Fibre’ award for its contributions to green energy efficiency and intelligent O&M in access networks, showcasing innovations across optical line terminals (OLTs), optical network terminals (ONTs), and network management systems that reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
