Shimla, September 14, 2025 – Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, is set to serve as an academic partner for the upcoming International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies. The virtual event, scheduled for November 8, 2025, aims to foster critical discussions on the evolving landscape of AI and its intersection with legal and ethical frameworks.
The conference is being organized by the International Society on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies (ISAIDT), a globally recognized body dedicated to promoting the responsible and ethical development of AI and digital technologies across various disciplines. HPNLU, established in 2016 and known for its commitment to interdisciplinary legal education, proudly supports this initiative, emphasizing the importance of academic collaboration in addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies.
Under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of HPNLU, the university is providing a platform for scholars, academicians, professionals, and students worldwide to engage in dialogue. Key themes for deliberation will include the regulatory governance of AI, the ethical and legal implications of new technologies, challenges related to data privacy, intellectual property rights, human rights in the digital age, and the future role of AI in legal practice and policy-making.
For those interested in contributing, the last date for abstract submission is October 20, 2025, with notifications of acceptance to be sent by October 25, 2025. Registration fees are structured as follows: members of ISAIDT can attend free of charge, while non-member students will be charged 1000 INR per author, and non-member professionals and academicians 1500 INR per author.
