This strategic partnership aims to expedite the deployment of Honda’s cutting-edge self-driving capabilities, particularly its Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) platform, into consumer vehicles slated for mass production.
The collaboration centers on the development of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), leveraging Helm.ai’s comprehensive suite of real-time AI software. This includes their full-stack perception capabilities (Helm.ai Vision), vision-based real-time path prediction AI (Helm.ai Driver), and advanced generative simulation models such as VidGen-2, GenSim-1, GenSim-2, and WorldGen-1. These tools are crucial for both the development and rigorous validation processes of autonomous systems.
Helm.ai’s technology is powered by its proprietary Deep Teaching™ methodology. These real-time AI systems and offline foundation models are extensively pre-trained on diverse, large-scale, multi-modal datasets. This allows them to be precisely adapted to meet Honda’s stringent specifications, ensuring safe, reliable, and scalable deployment in their vehicle lineup.
