Haptik Unveils “AI for All” Initiative, Empowering Indian SMBs with Advanced AI Agents

TLDR: Jio Haptik, a conversational AI leader, has launched its “AI for All” initiative, making sophisticated AI Agents accessible to Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in India. Starting at ₹10,000, the Interakt platform now enables SMBs to deploy WhatsApp and Voice AI Agents for automated customer interactions, aiming to resolve up to 80% of repetitive queries and boost lead conversions by 20-25%. The solution offers enterprise-grade security, CRM integration, and multilingual support across 22 Indian languages, with a goal to onboard 300,000-500,000 SMBs within two years.

Jio Haptik, a prominent conversational AI company and a subsidiary of Reliance Jio Platforms, has officially rolled out its “AI for All” initiative. This strategic move is designed to democratize access to enterprise-grade AI Agents for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) across India, with services commencing at an accessible price point of just ₹10,000.

The core of this initiative is Interakt, a WhatsApp-first CRM, marketing, and support automation platform that already serves over 50,000 businesses. With the integration of Haptik’s Agentic AI Platform, Interakt now empowers SMBs to seamlessly deploy intelligent WhatsApp and Voice AI Agents. These agents are engineered to automate a wide spectrum of customer interactions, significantly streamlining business processes.

Ahshad Jussawalla, CEO of Haptik, highlighted the transformative potential of this solution for various small businesses. “Imagine, a small clinic that can take appointments round-the-clock without a receptionist; an educational institute that can answer queries about courses instantly, even outside office hours; or a real estate firm that can guide prospects and book site visits in real time,” Jussawalla stated. He further emphasized the platform’s proven efficacy, noting that early adopters have reported an impressive resolution rate of up to 80% for repetitive customer support queries, alongside a substantial 20–25% increase in lead-to-sale conversions.

These AI Agents are built with robust enterprise-grade security and compliance standards, ensuring data privacy and reliability. They offer seamless integration with leading CRMs and backend systems, enabling businesses to automate complex and high-stakes customer conversations. A key differentiator is their multilingual capability, supporting interactions across 22 Indian languages. Unlike conventional Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, Haptik’s Voice Agents are designed to understand context, engage in natural, conversational dialogues, and manage intricate tasks such as follow-ups and lead qualification without human intervention.

Businesses spanning diverse industries are already leveraging Haptik’s AI Agents to enhance their operations. Notable examples include Re’equil for optimizing post-purchase engagement, Pantheon Development for efficient real-estate lead qualification, and Aster Hospitals (UAE) for automated patient reminders. Haptik underscores that the affordable pricing and no-code setup make this advanced automation feasible even for small service-led businesses like salons, cafés, and clinics.

Haptik has set an ambitious target to onboard between 300,000 and 500,000 SMBs over the next 24 months, which represents approximately 1% of India’s digitally active SMB market. Jussawalla articulated the broader vision, stating, “AI stops being a tech layer and becomes a growth engine when it’s tied to clear outcomes like CSAT, churn reduction, and cost per lead.” This initiative aims to solidify AI Agents as the go-to tool for businesses committed to scaling efficiently.
