The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Gyeonggi CCEI) proudly announced that 25 of its nurtured startups have been honored with Innovation Awards at CES 2026, held in Las Vegas, USA. This remarkable achievement comes despite significantly stricter judging criteria and record-high competition this year, showcasing the robust competitiveness of the center’s global startup nurturing framework.

The award-winning startups represent a diverse array of innovative industry sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, energy, and digital healthcare. A standout accomplishment was the recognition of three companies—Geeks Loft, StudioLab, and MANGOSLAB—who received the ‘Best of Innovation’ award, the highest honor bestowed at CES. This highlights the Gyeonggi CCEI’s effective strategy in cultivating startups across future-oriented industries and achieving tangible international success.

StudioLab, one of the ‘Best of Innovation’ recipients, was specifically recognized in the XR & Spatial Computing Category. Wonkyung Kim, CEO of the Gyeonggi CCEI, emphasized the significance of these achievements, stating, “The consecutive CES Innovation Awards are the fruition of the Gyeonggi CCEI’s systematic support for domestic startups’ global expansion.” Kim further added, “The center will not stop at awards but will continue to promote global partnerships and commercialization follow-up programs so that domestic startups can actually establish themselves in overseas markets.”
