TLDR: Google has launched a free, five-day online course on AI agents, titled the ‘5-Day AI Agents Intensive,’ in collaboration with Kaggle. Designed for all skill levels, the program aims to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills to build, evaluate, and deploy autonomous intelligent systems, marking a significant step in tech education.
Google has announced the launch of a new, comprehensive online learning initiative: the ‘5-Day AI Agents Intensive’ course. This free program, offered in partnership with Kaggle, Google’s renowned data science platform, is set to run from November 10 to 14, 2025. It is positioned as the ‘next frontier in tech learning,’ focusing on the development and deployment of AI agents – self-sufficient systems capable of planning and executing complex tasks autonomously.
The course is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their prior AI experience, from beginners to those looking to advance their expertise. It builds upon the success of last November’s ‘5-day Generative AI Intensive Course with Google,’ which attracted over 420,000 learners worldwide.
The curriculum is meticulously structured to provide both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical experience. Key areas covered include:
Agent Architecture: Delving into the structure, components, and control mechanisms that define an AI agent.
Tools and Frameworks: Exploring the APIs, orchestration layers, and model-wrappers essential for agent development.
Memory and Decision-Making: Teaching how agents recall past data, analyze situations, and make adaptive decisions.
Evaluation and Scaling: Focusing on measuring performance and ensuring agents are ready for real-world deployment.
The intensive program features over 20 video modules, interactive discussions, and coding assignments. It culminates in a capstone project where participants are challenged to build a functional AI agent, such as a task assistant or a memory-based chatbot. Successful completion of the capstone project offers opportunities for prizes, including Kaggle badges and recognition on Google’s social media channels.
What sets this course apart is its dedicated focus on AI agents, distinguishing it from many existing resources that primarily concentrate on large language models (LLMs) or vision systems. Expert contributors from leading organizations such as Google, NVIDIA, Cohere, and Grove AI will enrich the curriculum with their insights into real-world applications of agentic systems.
