TLDR: Glide Identity, a digital identity security firm, has successfully raised over $20 million in Series A funding, led by Crosspoint Capital Partners. The investment, bringing total funding to over $25 million, will fuel the development of its AI-safe, agent-ready authentication platform. The company’s innovative SIM-based cryptographic authentication aims to combat rising AI-powered fraud and enhance digital trust by replacing vulnerable one-time passwords.
SAN FRANCISCO, October 13, 2025 – Glide Identity, a pioneering digital identity security company, today announced it has closed an over $20 million Series A funding round. The significant capital infusion was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with notable participation from Amigos Venture Capital, Singtel Innov8 Ventures, and Sir Ronald Cohen. This latest round elevates Glide’s total funding to more than $25 million to date, underscoring investor confidence in its mission to tackle the evolving landscape of digital security challenges.
The company is focused on building an identity, authentication, and verification platform specifically designed for the Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) era. Glide Identity’s core technology offers a robust alternative to traditional, often vulnerable, authentication methods. It replaces one-time passwords (OTPs) with SIM-based cryptographic authentication, a system engineered to be impervious to phishing, interception, or social engineering tactics. Instead of users manually entering codes sent via text, authentication occurs seamlessly through their mobile carrier’s network, utilizing secure signals to verify identity without requiring any direct user action.
The urgency for such advanced solutions is highlighted by recent data from the Federal Trade Commission, which reported that U.S. consumers lost $12.5 billion to scams in 2024, marking a 25% increase year-over-year. Furthermore, the digital commerce sector faces billions in lost sales revenue annually, with an average of 70% of online shopping carts abandoned due due to complex checkout processes, account friction, and a lack of digital trust. Traditional authentication methods, reliant on passwords, codes, or security questions, place the burden of verification on individuals, a human factor increasingly exploited by sophisticated scammers employing urgency, manipulation, impersonation, and advanced AI techniques.
Andre Fuetsch, Managing Director of Crosspoint Capital and former CTO of AT&T, emphasized the critical role Glide Identity plays in the current technological landscape. “Glide Identity is solving one of the most persistent and developing challenges in the AI era: authentication and verifying digital identity,” said Fuetsch. He added, “Glide is achieving significant traction with enterprise customers as almost every industry is grappling with fraud prevention and growing AI-based threats. This growth demonstrates the urgency of the problem the company is solving and the sophistication of its solutions.”

Glide Identity’s technology is built on the Open Gateway protocol, enabling enterprises and developers to integrate AI-safe authentication at scale. The company is actively partnering with major mobile network operators and integrating with platforms like Google Cloud to deliver what it describes as the most secure and continuous identity platform for the AGI era, designed for both humans and AI agents. The company is set to host a panel on “Agentic Authentication” at Authenticate 2025 on October 14, further solidifying its position at the forefront of identity security innovation.
