TLDR: GIGABYTE has launched the AI TOP ATOM, a compact desktop AI supercomputer featuring the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. It delivers 1 petaFLOP of FP4 AI performance, 128GB of unified LPDDR5x RAM, and 10GbE connectivity, designed for on-premises AI development, prototyping, and inference of large language models.
GIGABYTE has officially introduced the AI TOP ATOM, a groundbreaking personal AI supercomputer designed to bring data center-level AI capabilities directly to the desktop. This compact, energy-efficient system, powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, promises to revolutionize on-premises AI development for a wide range of users, from developers and researchers to students and data scientists.
At its core, the AI TOP ATOM boasts an impressive 1 petaFLOP (1,000 AI TOPS) of FP4 AI computing power, enabling it to handle complex AI workloads and large language models (LLMs) with up to 200 billion parameters. For even more demanding tasks, two AI TOP ATOM units can be seamlessly linked via the integrated NVIDIA ConnectX-7 SmartNIC, scaling the processing capacity to support models with up to 405 billion parameters. This modular scalability bridges the gap between traditional workstations and high-performance computing clusters.
The system is equipped with a 20-core Arm processor, featuring a combination of 10 Cortex-X925 and 10 Cortex-A725 cores, paired with a substantial 128GB of coherent unified LPDDR5x system memory, offering a bandwidth of 273 GB/s. Storage options are equally robust, supporting up to 4 TB of PCIe Gen5 SSDs, ensuring rapid data access for intensive AI applications. Connectivity is comprehensive, including 10GbE Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1a output, and multiple USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C ports.
Designed for ease of use, the AI TOP ATOM comes preloaded with the full NVIDIA AI Software Stack, providing a complete suite of tools, frameworks, and libraries optimized for generative AI and machine learning. Additionally, GIGABYTE includes its exclusive AI TOP Utility, a graphical software environment that simplifies model prototyping, fine-tuning, inference, and deployment for various AI applications, including LLMs and multimodal models. The system runs on NVIDIA DGX OS and Ubuntu Linux, offering a familiar and powerful environment for AI professionals.
