We’ve seen more innovations emerge in a single year than ever before. The ten strategic technology trends for 2026 are categorized into themes focusing on building secure foundations for AI and digital transformation, and combining specialized models and systems for new value:

1. AI Supercomputing Platforms: These platforms integrate CPUs, GPUs, AI ASICs, neuromorphic, and alternative computing paradigms. They are designed to orchestrate complex workloads, unlocking new levels of performance and energy efficiency for data-intensive tasks like machine learning and simulation. Gartner predicts that by 2028, over 40% of leading enterprises will adopt hybrid computing paradigm architectures into critical systems.

2. Multi-agent Systems (MAS): Networks of intelligent AI agents will collaborate to automate complex workflows and decision-making processes, improving automation and scalability across enterprises.
