TLDR: Eve Security has successfully closed a $3 million seed funding round, co-led by LiveOak Ventures and Tau Ventures. The capital will fuel the launch and expansion of EveGuard, an innovative agentic AI observability and policy enforcement platform. EveGuard is designed to ensure the safety and security of AI agents as they interact with critical business systems, addressing the escalating risks posed by autonomous AI operations.
Austin, Texas – September 17, 2025 – Eve Security, a pioneering force in artificial intelligence security, today announced it has secured $3 million in seed funding. The round was spearheaded by LiveOak Ventures and saw participation from Tau Ventures, underscoring investor confidence in the company’s mission to fortify the security of AI agents. This significant investment will accelerate the development and market penetration of EveGuard, Eve Security’s flagship platform.
EveGuard is introduced as an industry-first agentic AI observability and policy enforcement platform. Its primary function is to safeguard AI agents as they engage with a company’s most sensitive and crucial business systems, ranging from financial data to human resources records. The platform’s core innovation lies in its ‘Agent-in-the-Loop’ (AITL) capability, named ‘Eve’, which automates security monitoring and policy enforcement for AI applications.
Nadav Cornberg, CEO of Eve Security, highlighted the critical need for such a solution. “Instead of requiring a person to be in the loop, EveGuard is designed to put an AI agent in loop (AITL) to dynamically grant permissions at a level of scale that no security engineer is going to be able to keep pace with as requests scale up and down in a matter of seconds,” Cornberg stated. He emphasized that the rate at which AI technologies are accessing data is already surpassing the capacity of traditional cybersecurity teams to track and manage, creating a widening gap between innovation and protection.
EveGuard’s operational model involves observing AI agents to detect requests and any anomalous behavior. It then assesses risks, interrogates other agents to quantify these risks, and, when necessary, escalates verification requests to either a human or another authorized AI agent. This dynamic approach allows for automatic approval of low-risk interactions while maintaining stringent security for an organization’s most valuable assets.
The platform also offers a robust set of intent and data policy enforcement controls, articulated in plain English, which can be applied as needed. Furthermore, EveGuard supports emerging industry standards such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) developed by Anthropic and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols under development by the Linux Foundation. This ensures secure access to external tools, application programming interfaces, and data sources.
