Diginex to Bolster RegTech Offerings with Acquisition of Edge AI Innovator Kindred OS

TLDR: Diginex Limited (NASDAQ: DGNX) has announced a non-binding memorandum of understanding to acquire Kindred OS, an Edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) developer. This strategic move aims to integrate Kindred’s H1 Edge AI platform into Diginex’s compliance and ESG product suite, enabling local execution of AI models, enhancing data privacy, reducing latency, and targeting highly regulated sectors like financial services and healthcare. The global Edge AI market is projected to grow significantly, from $20.78 billion in 2024 to $66.47 billion by 2030.

LONDON – Diginex Limited (NASDAQ: DGNX), a leading provider of Sustainability RegTech solutions, revealed on November 6, 2025, the execution of a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) to acquire Kindred OS, an innovator specializing in Edge Artificial Intelligence (Edge AI) technology. This acquisition marks a significant strategic expansion for Diginex, positioning the company at the forefront of privacy-first, AI-enabled compliance solutions.

Kindred OS is renowned for its H1 Edge AI platform, which facilitates the local execution of AI models directly within an organization’s own infrastructure, bypassing the need for cloud-based systems. This approach offers critical advantages, including enhanced data privacy, reduced latency, and lower energy consumption. The technology is particularly tailored for predictive learning, healthcare, and industrial automation applications.

Miles Pelham, Founder and Executive Chairman of Diginex, emphasized the evolving landscape of regulatory technology, stating, “Compliance and reporting are evolving from static checklists into living and evolving intelligent systems. Edge AI allows us to place trusted intelligence within an organization’s own secure IT ecosystem, which is perfectly aligned with Diginex’s mission to make compliance transparent, efficient, and responsible.”

Lorenzo Romano, Head of M&A and Strategic Development at Diginex, further highlighted the synergy, noting, “Edge AI bridges the gap between innovation and regulatory integrity. By combining Diginex’s regulatory expertise with Kindred’s local AI architecture, we aim to set a new benchmark for how AI will enhance both performance and compliance.”

The integration of Kindred’s Edge AI framework into Diginex’s existing regulatory technology platform will empower clients to automate compliance processes and generate AI-driven insights within secure, on-premise environments. This minimizes data risk, cost, and latency, while supporting sustainability goals by reducing dependence on energy-intensive cloud infrastructures. Diginex currently provides sustainability reporting and compliance solutions that adhere to frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.

The move comes amidst a rapidly expanding Edge AI market. Industry projections indicate that the global Edge AI market, valued at $20.78 billion in 2024, is expected to surge to $66.47 billion by 2030, demonstrating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.7% from 2025 to 2030.

Kindred OS, based in Alabama, is expected to operate as “Kindred by Diginex” upon the completion of the acquisition. The transaction remains subject to the negotiation of definitive agreements and customary closing conditions.
