TLDR: DevRev, an AI-native enterprise software company, announced the next evolution of its flagship conversational AI platform, ‘Computer,’ at its Effortless 2025 event in New York City. The platform aims to usher in an era of integrated conversational computing, transforming human-machine collaboration by offering a multiplayer, extensible AI teammate with integrated memory and skills, moving beyond single-use AI agents.
PALO ALTO, Calif. – DevRev, a pioneering AI-native enterprise software company, recently hosted its highly anticipated Effortless 2025 event in New York City on October 30, 2025. The event served as the platform for DevRev to unveil the significant advancements and future vision for its flagship conversational AI platform, ‘Computer,’ marking the dawn of integrated conversational computing. The company’s core mission with Computer is to redefine how humans and machines collaborate, making work more effortless, human, and connected.
‘Computer,’ which first launched in beta in September 2025, is designed as an integrated AI teammate that listens, understands, and acts. At Effortless 2025, DevRev showcased three new capabilities for the platform, emphasizing a multiplayer, conversational, and collaborative AI vision. This expansion aims to redefine work for the conversational age of AI, prioritizing human agency within enterprise operations.
According to Dheeraj Pandey, co-founder and CEO of DevRev, the current landscape of AI development often sees companies building agents focused on narrow, single use cases. Pandey stated, “Every new company is building an agent focused on a single use case. The gotcha is that they’re all trying to solve the prompt engineering problem, without thinking about measurability, extensibility, and collaboration between people and agents. Computer will be intrinsically extensible — with enterprise knowledge and skills — and multiplayer, so it doesn’t feel artificial. Without solving for an integrated memory and skills experience, AI agents will remain as failed pilot projects, easy to demo and impossible to roll out at scale.” This highlights DevRev’s commitment to building a more robust and scalable AI solution.
DevRev’s ‘Computer’ platform is built on patented technology that ingests both structured and unstructured data from existing enterprise tools such as Salesforce, Jira, and Zendesk. This data is then organized into a comprehensive knowledge graph, referred to as ‘Computer Memory,’ which provides the full business context necessary for its conversational enterprise AI. This unique approach allows Computer to not only read and summarize but also create, update, and delete information, ensuring systems of record remain synchronized and accurate. The platform promises businesses precise answers, real-time analytics, and automated workflows, unlocking significant unrealized value.
Vinod Khosla, a prominent investor in DevRev through Khosla Ventures and a vocal AI advocate, expressed his belief in the company’s direction. Khosla remarked, “I believe that the next revolution in software will be conversational and Computer represents that next step, turning AI from a task-doer into a true collaborator.” This sentiment underscores the industry’s shift towards more interactive and integrated AI solutions.
Founded in 2020 by Dheeraj Pandey, former co-founder and CEO of Nutanix, and Manoj Agarwal, former SVP of Engineering at Nutanix, DevRev is backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield. The company’s broader mission, as encapsulated by the ‘Effortless’ theme, is to make technology invisible and collaboration intuitive, replacing complexity with conversation. The concept of ‘Team Intelligence’ is central to DevRev’s vision, aiming to help teams work faster, smarter, and more enjoyably by providing an AI teammate with both emotional intelligence (EQ) and intellectual capabilities (IQ).

Effortless 2025 in New York City followed a similar event, Effortless Mumbai 2025, held earlier in February, which also focused on the convergence of AI and design to foster seamless human-machine interaction and introduce the ‘SaaS 2.0’ paradigm – simpler, faster, and sentient software solutions.
