Cybersecurity Innovator Seemplicity Secures $50 Million Series B to Advance AI-Powered Exposure Management

TLDR: Seemplicity, a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity firm, has successfully raised $50 million in Series B funding. The capital, led by Sienna Venture Capital, will be used to significantly enhance its AI capabilities, particularly in developing AI agents for its exposure management platform. This platform automates vulnerability and remediation processes, aiming to reduce security risk and improve efficiency for organizations globally.

Tel Aviv, Israel – Seemplicity, a leading provider of exposure action platforms, announced today the successful completion of a $50 million Series B funding round. This significant investment is earmarked to accelerate the company’s advancements in artificial intelligence and fuel a rapid expansion of its global go-to-market strategy. The funding round was led by Sienna Venture Capital, with participation from Essentia Venture Capital and existing investors Glilot Capital Partners, NTTVC, and S Capital.

Founded in 2020 by cybersecurity veterans Yoran Sirkis (CEO), Ravid Circus (Chief Product Officer), and Rotem Cohen Gadol (CTO), Seemplicity has developed an innovative platform designed to automate and streamline the entire vulnerability management and remediation process. The company’s “exposure action” platform is utilized by IT operations, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams to consolidate security findings, prioritize critical issues, and automatically generate tailored remediation plans.

A core focus of the new capital will be to increase investment in Seemplicity’s AI capabilities, specifically for the development and deployment of AI agents. These upcoming AI agents are envisioned as “companions” for security teams, providing personalized risk insights and proactive, actionable guidance. By combining an organization’s unique business logic with external threat intelligence, these agents aim to simplify workflows and empower teams to address the most impactful vulnerabilities efficiently.

CEO Yoran Sirkis emphasized the growing need for a more actionable approach to exposure management. “This funding comes as we experience incredible growth and customer adoption, and is a clear signal that security teams need a more actionable approach to exposure management,” Sirkis stated. “Our AI-based platform proactively streams risk insights, generates the fixes, and assigns work automatically to give teams their most valuable resource back – time. We are now better-positioned to extend these benefits to a broader global market, working with new and existing go-to-market partners across the US, UK and Europe.”

The Series B funding follows a period of substantial growth for Seemplicity, including an impressive 800% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) since its Series A round and a threefold growth in new customer acquisition. The platform currently processes over 1.5 billion security findings daily for customers across various regions and industries.

Seemplicity’s platform is designed to address the overwhelming volume of vulnerability findings that security teams face daily from numerous security tools. By consolidating these findings and prioritizing the small percentage that truly matter, the company aims to significantly reduce “exposure noise,” as highlighted in the initial news summary, by up to 95%. This approach helps stretched security teams, often grappling with staff shortages and burnout, to focus on critical threats and accelerate risk reduction.
