CyberArk Introduces New Security Tools for AI Agents on AWS Marketplace

TLDR: CyberArk has announced the availability of its Secure Cloud Access (SCA) MCP Server and Agent Guard in the new AWS Marketplace AI Agents and Tools category. These solutions are designed to enhance the security of AI agents and agentic workflows by implementing identity-first security, addressing a critical gap where 68% of organizations currently lack adequate identity security controls for AI.

NEW YORK – July 16, 2025 – CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), a global leader in identity security, today unveiled the availability of its CyberArk Secure Cloud Access (SCA) MCP Server and CyberArk Agent Guard within the newly launched AWS Marketplace AI Agents and Tools category. This strategic move aims to empower enterprises to secure the privileged access of AI agents and mitigate the escalating risks associated with the rapid and often uncontrolled adoption of artificial intelligence.

The announcement, made during the AWS Summit New York City 2025, highlights CyberArk’s commitment to extending its robust Identity Security Platform to the burgeoning AI landscape. The new AWS Marketplace category allows customers to seamlessly discover, purchase, and deploy AI agent solutions using their existing AWS accounts, thereby accelerating the development and deployment of agentic workflows.

According to recent CyberArk research, a significant 68 percent of organizations currently lack essential identity security controls for AI. This deficiency leaves security teams struggling to maintain visibility and control across complex multi-cloud environments, increasing the likelihood of security breaches. CyberArk’s new offerings directly address this challenge by enhancing the security of agentic AI workflows through limiting credential exposure and enforcing tighter access controls.

Key components of the newly available solutions include:

CyberArk Secure Cloud Access (SCA) MCP Server: This tool is specifically engineered to embed Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP) capabilities into native developer tools at speed and scale. It helps organizations secure access to cloud-native infrastructure, reducing risks stemming from persistent standing entitlements, credential sprawl, and unmanaged AI agents. It also grants scoped access to AI assistants like Amazon Q and Anthropic’s Claude, complete with robust audit trails and role-based access control (RBAC) enforcement.

CyberArk Agent Guard: Also available as an open-source solution, Agent Guard enables developers to securely integrate AI agents with credential providers such as AWS Secrets Manager and CyberArk Secrets Manager. It supports populating API keys and secrets as environment variables.

Peretz Regev, Chief Product Officer at CyberArk, emphasized the importance of these controls, stating, “The promise of agentic AI can be undermined by inadequate security controls, which introduce risk and increase the likelihood of a breach. With SCA MCP Server and Agent Guard, organizations can implement Zero Standing Privileges to secure their AI initiatives effectively.”

The availability of these tools through AWS Marketplace streamlines the procurement process for customers, reducing the time typically needed for vendor evaluations and complex negotiations. This centralized purchasing mechanism also ensures customers maintain visibility and control over licensing, payments, and access through AWS. CyberArk’s entry into this market positions it as an early leader in the AI-driven cybersecurity sector, tapping into a projected $27 billion+ AI security market opportunity by 2030, growing at an 18% CAGR. The company, with a $19.1 billion market cap, 77.9% gross margins, and 35% year-over-year revenue growth, is financially well-positioned to capitalize on this expanding market.
