CreateAI’s ‘Brotherhood of Blades’ Animated Short Achieves Historic Triple Gold at Collision Awards

TLDR: CreateAI Holdings’ co-produced animated short ‘Brotherhood of Blades’ has made history by winning three Gold and one Silver Awards at the prestigious Collision Awards. This marks the first time a Chinese animation has received such recognition at these awards, highlighting the successful integration of AI-powered enhancements in its production, which reduced production time by 50% while preserving traditional ‘wuxia’ aesthetics.

SAN DIEGO and BEIJING – July 24, 2025 – CreateAI Holdings (OTC: TSPH), a prominent leader in applied artificial intelligence technology, announced today that its co-produced animated short film, ‘Brotherhood of Blades,’ has swept the Collision Awards, securing three Gold and one Silver Awards. This landmark achievement positions CreateAI alongside global animation giants and marks a historic first for Chinese animation at the Collision Awards, underscoring the increasing global influence of Chinese creative content.

The ‘Brotherhood of Blades’ project garnered Gold Awards in the highly competitive categories of Best Animation, Best Animated Character, and Best Animation Style. Additionally, it received a Silver Award for Best Motion Design. The short film was developed in collaboration with Infinity Animation Studios, a portfolio company of CreateAI.

Adapted from a pivotal action sequence within the film of the same name, ‘Brotherhood of Blades’ was brought to life under the direction of Bo Liu, acclaimed for the ‘Zhen Dao Ge (On the Edge)’ animated series. The production notably leveraged CreateAI’s advanced artificial intelligence technology to enhance traditional hand-drawn animation techniques. This innovative integration of AI, particularly in areas such as texturing and rendering, resulted in a remarkable 50% reduction in overall production time. Crucially, this technological advancement did not compromise the poetic visual style and cultural aesthetics of classic ‘wuxia’ storytelling.

Cheng Lu, CEO of CreateAI, commented on the significance of these accolades, stating, ‘The awards are a testament to the power of top-tier creative teams coupled with the latest in AI innovation. This recognition further confirms our belief that Chinese martial arts storytelling can thrive on the global stage, and the balance between creativity and technology can breathe new life into more Chinese IPs.’
