The new Serverless RL service is touted as the first publicly available fully managed reinforcement learning offering. It enables developers to seamlessly scale reinforcement learning workloads across dozens of GPUs with minimal setup, addressing historical barriers such as costly infrastructure and complex workflows.
According to CoreWeave, internal benchmarks demonstrate significant performance improvements: nearly 1.4 times faster training times and a 40% reduction in costs compared to running Nvidia H100 GPU environments locally. This efficiency is achieved by automatically adjusting computing power, eliminating the need for manual resource management.
Reinforcement learning (RL) is a machine learning paradigm focused on decision-making by autonomous agents, where systems learn to act in response to their environment through iterative trial and error.
