SAN JOSE, Calif. – Cloudinary, a leading image and video platform empowering global brands, announced on July 16, 2025, the immediate availability of its Image, Video, and Assets solutions in the new AI Agents and Tools category of AWS Marketplace. This strategic move is set to significantly simplify how customers access and deploy advanced AI-powered media management capabilities directly through their AWS accounts, fostering accelerated development of agent and agentic workflows.

The inclusion of Cloudinary’s offerings in this dedicated AWS Marketplace category means that organizations can now more easily discover, procure, and deploy generative AI-powered image, video, and asset solutions. This integration is designed to streamline the procurement process, reducing the time typically spent on vendor evaluations and complex negotiations, as highlighted by a 2025 Forrester study indicating that customers procure 60 percent faster through AWS Marketplace compared to traditional IT procurement methods .

Cloudinary’s platform is renowned for its ability to manage, transform, and deliver images and video at massive scale, enabling brands to enhance visual experiences, speed up publishing times, reduce page load times, and launch new visual campaigns efficiently. With this new availability, Cloudinary’s API-first, cloud-native solutions now support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), ensuring seamless communication between Cloudinary Image and Video APIs and leading AI agents and Large Language Models (LLMs) such such as Claude and Amazon Bedrock . This technical compatibility is crucial for enterprises looking to integrate sophisticated AI capabilities into their media workflows.

Brian Bohan, director and head of the AWS Consulting Center of Excellence, emphasized the broader impact of this new marketplace category, stating, “There’s now a one-stop shop for everything that customers need to really accelerate their agentic journey where they can find not only AI agents, but also guardrails, knowledge bases, tools and services.” He further noted that this initiative creates a “really huge opportunity for AWS partners as they’re building agents and building assets to get them out into our co-sell motion and into the hands of customers.” The new AI Agents and Tools category launched with over 800 agentic AI offerings, featuring solutions from innovators like Anthropic, IBM, Salesforce, and now Cloudinary .

According to IT research firm Gartner, 33 percent of enterprise software applications are projected to include agentic AI by 2028, a significant increase from less than 1 percent in 2024 . This forecast underscores the growing importance of accessible AI tools for businesses. Cloudinary’s participation in this new marketplace category positions it at the forefront of this trend, enabling its more than two million users and 10,000 customers, including prominent brands like Adidas, Etsy, and Grubhub, to leverage cutting-edge AI for transformative visual experiences and automated workflows .
