Hanoi, Vietnam – August 26, 2025 – Citi has officially extended its comprehensive suite of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, known as ‘Citi AI,’ to its employees in Vietnam. This strategic rollout, part of a broader August 2025 expansion across key Asian markets, marks a significant commitment by the global financial institution to foster innovation and elevate operational efficiency within its workforce.
The introduction of these advanced AI capabilities in Vietnam builds upon Citi’s global initiative, which saw the initial launch of the ‘Citi AI’ suite in December 2024 across the United States and ten other international markets. The platform is meticulously designed to empower employees across diverse functions, streamlining complex tasks and freeing up valuable time for more strategic endeavors.
Key components of the ‘Citi AI’ suite now available to employees in Vietnam include:
Citi Assist: An intelligent AI assistant engineered to simplify information retrieval. This tool enables employees to swiftly access answers and critical information from Citi’s extensive policy library, encompassing human resources, compliance, finance, risk policies, and standard operating procedures.
Citi Stylus: A powerful tool designed for efficient document management. It allows users to summarize, compare, and translate multiple documents concurrently, thereby significantly reducing manual effort and accelerating analytical processes.
Citi Stylus Workspaces: A versatile platform that facilitates a wide array of text-generation tasks. Employees can leverage this tool to draft emails, prepare presenter notes, develop comprehensive Q&A documents, and handle numerous other writing-intensive activities, redirecting their focus to higher-value work.
Beyond these core functionalities, Citi has also equipped its in-house developers in Vietnam with specialized Generative AI tools. These cutting-edge capabilities are set to enhance code writing efficiency, accelerate development cycles, and enable the rapid introduction of innovative products and solutions to the market.
Hanh Do, Head of Citi Vietnam’s Public Affairs, emphasized the bank’s proactive approach to maximizing the benefits of these new technologies. “To maximise the benefits and encourage widespread adoption of these new AI tools, we are actively sharing best practices gleaned from successful Citi AI launches in other markets,” stated Do. She further added, “The initial reception elsewhere has been overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating how these tools profoundly support internal operations, from rapid information retrieval and document summarisation to the efficient drafting of electronic communications. We anticipate a similar transformative impact here in Vietnam.”
