The financial giant’s commitment to AI is evident as its entire workforce of 150,000 employees is now utilizing various AI tools. This widespread adoption is aimed at streamlining routine tasks, enhancing decision-making processes, and ultimately boosting operational efficiency.

At the core of Citi’s AI strategy is the deployment of ‘agentic AI,’ a sophisticated form of artificial intelligence that extends beyond simple automation.
