Chandigarh University (CU) has announced the introduction of 11 new advanced specialized programs for the academic year 2025-26, aiming to prepare students for successful careers in a dynamic global landscape. These programs, consisting of seven undergraduate (UG) and four postgraduate (PG) courses, are strategically aligned with emerging industry demands in critical areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Capital Markets, Global Business Management, Media and Entertainment Management, and Strategic Human Resource.
In the field of engineering and computer applications, CU is offering new UG and PG programs with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Notably, the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence is being offered in collaboration with Microsoft. This program is designed to blend core computer science principles with cutting-edge AI technologies, preparing students to design, develop, and deploy smart solutions across various industries. Students will gain hands-on exposure, engage in interdisciplinary projects, and receive mentorship from experts, equipping them with the skills to lead in a tech-driven future.
Beyond AI and Data Science, the university is also introducing an MBA in Media and Entertainment Management, an industry-collaborated program focusing on media management, digital marketing, content production, and entertainment business strategies. Additionally, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Strategic Human Resource is among the new offerings.
