This significant investment elevates the company’s total capital raised to more than $155 million, underscoring strong investor confidence in its innovative platform and growth trajectory.
The funding round is comprised of two key components: $50 million in debt financing provided by Chicago Atlantic, a private markets alternative investment manager, and a $42.6 million Series D equity round. The Series D was spearheaded by prominent growth equity firms TVC Capital and Toloka.vc, alongside other undisclosed investors.
Chicago Atlantic, known for its focus on industries where capital demand outstrips traditional supply, brings its expertise in opportunistic private credit and equity. The firm has a robust track record, having closed over $2.8 billion in credit facilities. TVC Capital, a San Diego-based growth equity firm established in 2006, specializes in B2B software and software-enabled services companies, typically investing in U.S. businesses with annual recurring revenue exceeding $2.5 million. With approximately $235 million in assets under management, TVC Capital is committed to partnering with management teams to scale operations and drive long-term value.
Capacity’s leadership has outlined clear objectives for the newly acquired funds. The capital will be strategically deployed to support continued product innovation, accelerate growth initiatives, and facilitate the integration of newly acquired technologies, aligning with Capacity’s ‘compound startup strategy.’
