Phnom Penh, Cambodia – On Monday, August 11, 2025, the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR) of Cambodia conducted a pivotal training session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Financial Technology (FinTech) for its management and officials. The program, held in Phnom Penh, was designed to significantly advance the digital capabilities of ACAR personnel, with a specific focus on boosting data analytics skills and strengthening regulatory oversight within Cambodia’s dynamic financial sector.
The training course, titled ‘Artificial Intelligence and FinTech,’ was chaired by Chea Chantha, Deputy Director General of ACAR, and saw the participation of senior officials and technical experts. According to an official ACAR announcement, the primary objective of this initiative is to reinforce ACAR’s institutional capacity in leveraging advanced technologies, including Data Analytics, FinTech solutions, and Generative AI.
